Neo

Neo is a 4 year old ferret who loves to be held and will give the best kisses ever!  Neo is extremely people friendly but is particular about his ferret friends.  Neo tends to get along with females better than males.  Neo loves little round balls to play with.  He will lay on his back and roll the ball, round and round, with his little paws.  Neo is showing signs of Adrenal disease and has already begun treatment.  Since Neo came in to our rescue with a pre-existing illness, our Medical Plan will be available to whomever adopts him.  This is how it works.  Ferret Dreams Medical Fund will pay for all medical expenses for Neo which include exams, medications, depots and/or surgeries directly related to his Adrenal Disease.

Frank

Frank and Tank are two bonded ferrets that must be adopted out together.  Tank is a bit larger male, 4 yrs old and sable in color.  Frank is the smaller one, also 4 yrs old and a little darker sable.  Both are very playful and friendly and will be a great addition to any loving family.  They are now ready to make their next home, their last.  If you are interested in this pair, please contact us

In this world, there are few individuals who enter your life who can lift your spirit, make you smile and who face hardships and pain with an upbeat spirit and attitude.  These type of people tackle life head on and remind us that life is short so we must live it to the fullest.  We have chosen Karen as this month’s Hero because she shares her positive energy with everyone she meets, including her ferrets.

If you are ever lucky enough to be around Karen, you know what we mean.  Her laughter is contagious, her spirit is uplifting and her  love for her ferrets comes shining through.  Karen has been a friend and supporter of Ferret Dreams for several years now.  Karen has a ferret named Jocko who came to our rescue with Adrenal Disease.  When she visited us, there was an immediate bond between the two of them and Karen knew that Jocko needed to be with her.  Since then, Jocko has received lots of love and care from Karen.  Thanks to our Medical fund, we are able to take care of his Adrenal disease since he came in with this pre-existing disease.

Karen also donates pads and bed liners for our cages.  These pads and liners keep the cages of our elderly ferrets clean and comfortable.   This saves our rescue hundreds of dollars every year.  Karen also donates large quantities of ferret hammocks and beds for our raffles.  These items are always a hit at our raffles and add to the great selection of raffle items.  We appreciate all these donated items that Karen, along with her husband James, have given us.

Karen is dedicated to her ferrets and will do anything for them.  She is one of our biggest supporters who looks forward to getting together with other ferret lovers at the Mile High Ferret Club and Ferret Dreams events.  If you haven’t met Karen yet, you’re missing out.  She will bring a bit of sunshine to your life, we guarantee it!

Midori

Midori is an elderly ferret who still has a lot of energy and spirit left in him.  He is showing early signs of Adrenal Disease and also has hind leg weakness.  Midori will soon be going to our vet to begin treatment for all his ailments.  He has a good weight and attitude and we hope to be able to keep him safe, comfortable and healthy for a long time.

We want to thank Kenn & Melissa for bringing him to us and for wanting to still be a part of his life by sponsoring him and being his DreamAngels.  If you would like to be a DreamAngel for Midori or any of our permanent residents, please contact us for more information.

On May1st, Medori fell critically ill and passed away quickly and without suffering.   Along with his Adrenal Disease and Insulinoma, a necropsy revealed cancer throughout his body.  He is a joy to have around and we’ll miss him.  We want to thank Melissa, Kenn and Robin for being such caring DreamAngels to Midori.  With their help, we were able to provide Midori with all his medical needs.

Peanut

Princess and Peanut are a bonded pair and must be adopted out together.  Both are approximately 5 years old but still have a lot of energy and love left!  Princess is a dark-eyed white and Peanut is the light sable color.  Princess has a need for attention and therefore can be a bit nippy at times.  Because of this, they are not recommended in a home with children.  If you are interested in this pair, please contact us.

Bear

Comet

Bear and Comet are a bonded pair and must be adopted out together.  Bear is a Canadian male ferret, high energy and can play rough from time to time.  Otherwise, he is very people friendly.  Bear is approximately 1 1/2 years old.  Comet is a beautiful male ferret with a silver-sable fur coloring.  He is also about 1 1/2 years old and very human and ferret friendly.  We do not recommend a home with small children due to Bear’s rough play.

On April 28th, Lynsay, Megan, Shay and Caedon visited Ferret Dreams to adopt Bear & Comet.  We were very impressed with this family, their knowledge of ferrets and their dedication to their family pets.  We wish them years of happiness, joy and laughter with Bear and Comet in their lives.

Xena

These three ferrets are bonded and must be adopted out together.  All are approximately 3 1/2 years old.  Xena is a light tan female, very affectionate and playful.  Cobra a light sable male who is also very friendly and laid back.  Niele is a dark sable male who is the curious one.  If you are interested in these three ferrets, please contact us.

Baby Remi, Stephanie and Blaze of Glory

Stephanie and her infamous ferret Snotface were introduced to a couple of boys named Blaze of Glory and Remi.  Like Snotface, these two ferrets are Blazes, a type of ferret with a white stripe that comes from the face and goes down the head and neck.  These three boys will now spent their time making Stephanie’s life even more exciting than ever.  We want to thank Stephanie for adding these two ferret to her home.  We know that Snotface will keep them both in line so that one day, they may be famous superstars like him.

Jacqueline & Franz are a couple of fun-loving, easy going ferrets.  They were recently adopted by Justin & Lillian, a father and daughter team anxious to begin life with ferrets.  We want to thank them for taking their time to discern and to go through our crash course of ferret ownership.  Once they decided that ferrets were a good pet for them, we were able to match them up with this great pair of ferrets.  We want to thank them for their generous donation to our Medical Fund and we wish them all the best with Jacqueline & Franz.
